Gawd. Whip Thandie Newton out and make a low budget movie, starring her as Nefertiti. Make it character driven.

I do not know how often I stared at busts of Nefertiti and Akhenaten; they were SO beautiful in my eyes then (still are), but I could not decipher why back then. Now I can; those few remaining busts are life like, not the kind of 'photoshop-treatment' most other busts had.

I would love to see a movie that dramatises their life stories. Interesting era.

I am not either... its the lips. I love her eyes, but her lips are too distracting for me to get into her characters.

When I was little...the last thing anybody wanted was big lips cuz it was considered too black or ethnic and now all of a sudden Miss Angelina swole mouth has the most beautiful lips and women are getting injectible fat and fake substances in their lips to make them all fish like. And don't get me started on them damn booty inserts.

ask yourself, in an area that people considered themselves basically European, what would make Cleopatra be considered homely....and you probably have your answer right there in regards to her skin tone. Also the people around the Mediterranean were never pale, they were swarthy (olive/dark skin tones). Very hard to live right next to the equator and be pale. Greeks Italians, Spaiards, Middle Easterners, and North Africans are all swarthy.

I had this discussion a while back. Can't remember if it was here or another board. But her lips actually were like that when she was a little girl. I had some pics of her at only about 12 and her lips were big then. I always thought they were fake too.

Don't get me wrong, I love Angelina. I think she is a stunning, gorgeous woman. I just think there were better choices for the role. Still like to see what she will do with it. I wish like hell Mel was directing. What he did with Passion and Apocalypto was amazing.
