I'll take your word for it. Next time I go out to eat, I'm going to order some Tilapia, give it a try.

And try that catfish too!!! It's great baked or fried!!!!

I'll have to. nod Not sure how plentiful it is here in Ohio, but I definitely need to try it some time. smile

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

My parents' neighbor went fishing a couple of weeks ago and caught porgies.

My Dad bought a few, my Mom fried them up, and foodnow

The only thing I don't like is that those suckers have a lot of sharp little bones.

I caught one whilst being on holiday in Gambia. They taste fantastic.

Is that a Pike?

It's a barracuda, they're incredibly tasty.

It was chucked on an improvised BBQ. They only added a bit of salt, pepper and lime.

It was very, very nice. Can't really compare it any other fish I've ever had.

The fact that I caught it made it (of course) taste even better. It was a big mother f**ker.

I used to see those in the Florida Keys all the time when we went snorkling.

Supposedly if you're wearing something shining, they'll mistaken it for a small fish and fuck you up. lol

Amazing movement underwater, those things.

I'm surprised by all the love for catfish here. I've always just thought of cats as gross bottom feeders.

Catfishes are still gross bottom feeders, just like oysters. disbelief But Catfish is still a huge favor in the South.

Actually, oysters are filter feeders, but I digress. Catfish are very tasty even though they are bottom feeders. I would have to say chickens are even worse, though. They'll take a crap, and then turn around and eat it. About the only fish I haven't tried (nor do I want to) is bowfin (aka mudfish). They're big in the South, too.

My favorite is Croaker. I'm on my way to the seafood market to get some

later. I also like spots, bass, flounder and red snapper but

snapper is so damn expensive. I love fresh fish. I'm not to crazy about

that frozen shit you by out the grocery store.

Salmon (both cooked and sushi). I prefer wild salmon but I like the farmed variety too.

A close second would probably Rainbow Trout.

yeahthat SMOKED Rainbow trout! drool3

Flounder is bottom-feding fish. Catfish are just fresh water fish that are usually found in nasty looking murky water. They eat other fish though.

I don't eat fish; the smell (raw or cooking) makes me deathly ill -- instant migraine and nausea.

However, I do adore shrimp. nod
