I can only do Salmon if it is done on the grill. I really don't care for baked salmon but

is good if cooked and seasoned right.

Have you ever had it pan-seared (like in the pic I posted)? It's heavenly. Nothing at all like the dry, flaky texture of baked salmon.

Use a blow tortch to crisp the skin. Just until the edges of the skin curl slightly, N I R V A N A !

nod I saw that on Iron chef last night! smile

Well look whom I found dipping their toe in the murky waters! :eyeroll: At least offer me a damn cup of coffee!

I just started that fancy for sushi a couple of years ago but dare to try anything

different than the shrimp sushi. I'm just afraid to try raw fish. lol

And eel. shake

Eel is delicious, especially when it's barbecue. drool

Salmon is my big love

Pangasius filet (aka catfish), fried, sauteed, broiled

Squid (Calamari), either mediteranean or Japanese style

...but I pretty much love any fish!

My favorite is Croaker. I'm on my way to the seafood market to get some

later. I also like spots, bass, flounder and red snapper but

snapper is so damn expensive. I love fresh fish. I'm not to crazy about that frozen shit you by out the grocery store.

I'm with ya on that, I don't like frozen fish either. My mom used to buy the frozen breaded fish; I used to hate that stuff. lol But as I got older, I found that fresh fish was the way to go. My favorite is salmon (cooked on the grill, it's yummy!). But I also like perch, swordfish, walleye, shrimp, lobster, and crabmeat.

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Love salmon and halibut. Baked salmon should be moist if done right. When I do baked halibut I pour Orange Juice over it with onions and when its' done it's juicy and quite tasty.

I usually eat salmon at least 3 times a week. The way I normally cook it is covered in Pepper and Dill on the stove. Grilling salmon can be great too!

Now, I'm hungry. confused

As the saying goes, "Halibut for the hell of it". lol

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

My dad likes Tilapia. I've never had it, but I understand that it's a very mild fish (which I probably would like).

I love any kind of fish! When we were little we got to pick what we wanted for our birthday dinners.... I always picked fish!

But im picky about what seafood I eat, I dont like shrimp, the texture just grosses me out! Scallops have to be cooked just right...Etc

I'm surprised by all the love for catfish here. I've always just thought of cats as gross bottom feeders.

Walleye is great, but I hate all of those little bones that are in it. They are such a pain to spot, because they're so small and slender.
