Was under parents dental insurance...
Now I'm not...I'm going to the same dental place I used to go to years ago. Do I have to sign up again? Fill out the paper work again? I want to pay myself....I don't have insurance now....how much is a cleaning? I also have pain...I think my wisdom tooth gives me serious pain when I touch it or smile....how much to remove it? thanks. unlucky7 reincarnated |

Not many people know this...but there's this magical invention called the telephone! Every business has what they call a "phone number." It's a bunch of numbers that correspond to the number buttons on the telephone. You press them in order, wait a few seconds, and suddenly, there's someone who talks to you through the phone. You ask them the questions and they give you answers!
I also heard that there's a really fat book called a "phone book" that has the phone numbers. Maybe you could check and see if your dentist is in it! [Edited 6/10/10 4:48am] We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

Ask your parents... There is something called the internet, also. The cheapest places to get teeth pulled are dental schools...but pulling wisdom teeth is more complicated than pulling other teeth and considered surgery, so it costs more. |

Pay no attention to these amateure org comedians. If you've been to this dental office within the last 3 years they will have a current case file on you. If it's been longer then you may have to fill out paper work again. Dental cleanings vary from county to county and state to state but probably average about 60-150 U.S dollars. If you need deep cleaning (under the gums) or root work or tooth removal then you are looking at hundreds to thousands. Just call up your parents and make sure you aren't covered under their insurance and call up the dentist before you make your appointment.
Um...are you in school? Mentally handicapped? Living in poverty? You may need to visit social services and have them help direct you to a dentist that will bill them directly.

Forgive me for this:
Ok I'm good. Just needed to get that off my chest. Good luck to you and don't ignore that tooth pain much longer. |

We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.

yeah you're gonna have to go and fill out the paper work and discuss the prices with your dentist now(altho not sure if you are looking to get your own insurance?).i would go in asap if you have pain because tooth ache's are the worst they can really hurt. |
