'Get Him to the Greek'

It's playing down the street (about a 2 min. walk).

Is it as funny as I've heard? Shall I go for it, today?

The buzz seems to be fairly positive, I say why not give it a shot?

I was gonna see it, but in the previews where they show P.Diddy, I'm a little offended by a couple of his lines:

"You can't outrun me, i'm BLACK!!" and "Do you know how many pairs of Air Jordans 6 black kids wear?"

Wow, really Puffy? Way to perpetuate stereotypes disbelief

Plus I'm Jonah Hill'd out.

'Twas funny (Russell Brand, especially). I literally "LOL'ed" a few times.

If all you've seen of RB are his VMA gigs, he's way, way funnier than that. Check out the stand-up special he shot in NYC (hilarious!).

I'm watching "The View" from yesterday. He's like a kid hopped up on sugar, but it's pretty amusing.

I thought the trailer for that movie was funny. I might go see it.

Oddly, there're a couple of bits in it that aren't in the flick.

Good to hear... I always fear great ratings are really a death knell.

Well look whom I found dipping their toe in the murky waters! :eyeroll: At least offer me a damn cup of coffee!

Yeah, I was like, 'All the reviews are saying it's so funny; I'll probably be disappointed.' But I got some good chuckles. nod

Russell Brand is the quickest wit out there IMO. His earlier work included stints on a Big Brother offshoot and he was lightning fast. Lightning!

I saw him on Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack. I'm assuming you're talking about Big Brother's Big Mouth or one of those other companion shows? He used to host one of 'em, right?

He's done a couple of really funny interviews on Howard Stern, too.

Yeah, it was Big Mouth for at least one series. He was quick, funny and clever with the various dimwits in the audience. I prefer him like this, I find his staged/scripted stuff so-so.

I'm sorry. I just do not "get" Russell Brand. I've tried. But I just can't. He's an idiot. I don't like him.

No excuse. I'm sick of the coonery. I thought he was a smart black man. I would've read that shit and had them change it or said "hell no." Really? That's what the writers think of black people?

I feel the same way about Jonah Hill. Exactly why is this guy "famous"? I know a couple of chubby Jewish guys that are much funnier than he is...

• Did you first think Prince was gay? •

Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

Because he had the good fortune of hooking up with Judd Apatow, who has created a cottage industry out of turning fat immature douches into movie stars while making truckloads of cash off of other fat immature douches and their wish fulfillment fantasies of winding up with Kristin Bell.
