okay, maybe finally life is looking up... 1) found a boarding school for the kid, and dropped him off today
Plus now I can focus on working and getting myself back together without wondering what to do with the kid or having to leave him with grandma and him getting into trouble or trying to run around all over creation to pick him up or drop him off or being tired and having to deal with his BS too.
2) starting part time job tomorrow. paperwork is all done and I don't have to deal with John Q Public!
3) have a job interview on Wednesday with another place that sounds very, very promising! I also will not have to deal with the public, and a person I went to school with used to work there so it was like a pseudo-in!
Am feeling preety good today to have accomplished so much. Crossed fingers and prayers, please!

I enjoyed my job today. As long as I don't have to deal with the public maybe I will be okay in this industry. What has been very eye opening to me is talking with other people, and there is a lot of shadiness and bitterness....and people that are really good at what they do, really sweet individuals....I'm starting to see that it really isn't something wrong with me, per se. I can see how it it bothered me to the point of a near nervous breakdown, but when I talk to a person who is very tolerant and they are thinking that they don't want to do it anymore
Anyway knowing this I feel better about the interview tomorrow, the person who used to work there that I know said it's a good place to work

I am so incredibly happy for you!
I hope this school is a good fit for your nephew. From what you post here and what you've shared in messages, I truly believe that you are doing everything in your power to help him turn out okay, despite all the odds that have been stacked against him. God bless you for that.
I'll be thinking good thoughts for your interview.

well I dropped off the rest of his stuff today and checked up on him. He told me he saw a rat! And you know what? Oh well. He had his own room, he had a TV, he had video games, books, all sorts of nice things I have done for him, and all I ever asked is he respect his grandma and respect his teachers and just get his work done and then he could have played until his heart was content. I signed him up for Tae Kwon Do. Counseling, medicine, and of course the ubiquitous spanking
But to see his grandma tell him one day that she didn't feel well and him to still keep bugging her like he just didn't give a fuck, made me realize he really doesn't give a fuck! To run around and disrespect her when I am not home
He also told me the kids were teasing him already (karma!) and that he cried last night because he missed his home...
But you know what, when I said bye....did he even ask about his grandma and how she was or to tell her he missed her and he loved her
I was gone all day from 5:30a to 6pm and to be honest if I would have had to leave him home with his grandma I would have freaked out. I just can't do it all myself anymore. He either has to learn how to be respectful and loving and grateful for what he has, or he can be without but I'm done.
But trust, as soon as I can I will be giving them a hefty donation toward some exterminating services
OH yeah and BTW now that I have good job prospects the government seems to be actually perking up with all my applications...go figure. So maybe in a few months I'll have some really great news to share *crosses fingers again*

every time I feel like giving up and losing faith, then I remind myself the devil just wants to bring me down but God the Creator did not make this world to be full of all the stupidness. I keep on keepin' on
That's what I would like the kid to understand. There's no need for drama in life.
I'd like grown people to get it too.....
