Org Gamers: what games are you looking forward to in 2010?

Recently finished 'Heavy Rain' on the PS3, and currently finishing up 'Mass Effect 2' as well as playing 'Alan Wake' on Xbox360. Particularly looking forward to 'L.A. Noir', 'pOrtal 2' and 'Brink' later this year - the new Kane & Lynch game looks kinda awesome too. What are you guys looking forward to?

Trailer goodness follows, please do not adjust your set.

L.A. Noir:

It's been getting fantastic reviews. Not sure though, feels too much like GTA in the ol' wil' west for me. May buy it at a later date preowned or when the price comes down, still have the (awesome) 'Uncharted: Drake's Fortune' as well as the impressive 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' to complete yet.

Can't begin to tell you how impressed I was with Uncharted when I first bought my PS3, can't wait to play 'Among Thieves'

I´m an XBox newbie, never had any kind of videogame before, never played any games on my computers (except for some old school retro games such as Pacman) and now a good friend of mine gave me his old first generation Xbox.

I have played Halo, Halo 2, and GTA Vice City in the past couple of weeks and bought all games second hand at the fleamarket for a couple of bucks, including gems like HalfLife 2, Riddick, GTA San Andreas etc.etc. and have been playing eversince.

Thing is, I never knew there were newer models of the Xbox (like the 360 and the 360 Elite) , so I accidentally bought Arkham Asylum on Ebay, paying no mind to the little "360" sign on it ( another friend of mine told me it wouldn´t make any difference).

I guess I´ll buy a new Xbox 360 real soon to be able to play newer games and my Arkham Asylum bargain in particular.
But.....can I still play my other , older games such as Halo, Halflife2, Halo2, GTA etc. etc. on the new Xbox 360?
Maybe I should ask my friend to sell me his old Xbox and I should still buy a 360 Elite? He doesn´t want to have it back anyway.

Any Halo3:ODST players in here? Is it as good as Halo1 and 2, even though you are not the Master Chief?

Ive played Red Dead Redemption. It's pretty epic. Now I'm just waiting on Fable 3. Crackdown 2 and APB (All Points Bulletin)

Of Course there will be surprises throughout the year..

In the past I use to be a avid gamer. Now lack of time and interests in other things have shifted that a bit. I still find time though

I heard that Elites withstand the red ring of death better than regular ones. Plus, if you download movies or full games from the marketplace, that extra storage comes in handy. I was accidentally sent an Elite, but paid for a Pro....glad of it since I've been using storage like crazy.

Not sure. When's the next L4D out???? fit
I seem to LIVE for them. lol

I am trying to finish SAW. It's sorta cool, but I'm disappointed on the action front. It's mostly puzzle solving. Also generally I tend to prefer first person games.

I might give Wolfenstein (I know...it's '09 boxed) a shot, since I played the Xbox version of like 59 years ago (with the cheesy graphics) but actually enjoyed the game itself.

Don´t feel ashamed, as I stated above, I´ve just become a gamer about a couple of weeks ago. ( old school regular Xbox, with classic games such as Halo 1 and 2, Halflife2, GTA etc. ).
lol
I know I´m late. lol

Saw was a let down. sad I played it out of curiosity, but like a lot of games, got bored half way through. Did you ever get the Passing for L4D2? What a nice add-on. I'm loving the weekly Mutations too.

I recently brought Red Dead Redemption with my new PS3 slim and am really disappointed. The concept of the game is GTA in the wild west which sounds fantastic, But once playing it's really boring. The start of the game is fantastic and there are some brilliant ideas, but like so many Rockstar games its just full of glitches. The other thing is, there is nothing for miles and miles, and only a hand full of settlements, I am about 60% through this game and wish I waited till I got it pre-owned!!

I have a confession: I got Mass Effect 2 and played about 6 hours of it and I never really got into it. Maybe I will pick it up tonight.

Yeah, I've been telling myself, gotta get back in there and finish this Saw game so I can trade it in. It shouldn't be a chore. lol
Dumbass me bought it when it was full price too, which I only ever do with L4D.

Wait, what??? What's this "Passing"??? I know it makes me a bad gamer not knowing this. Does this mean I can add to my L4D2??? excited

Really? I've heard nothing but praise for the game. The only knock is you can't swim, which is ridiculous on Rockstar's part.

I haven't really kept up with what's on the horizon as far as games go. Lately I've been playing older games, Hitman: Blood Money, Fallout 3, and some Modern Warfare 2 from time to time though it isn't all that old. Once I get a PS3 I'll probably pick up Tekken 6. The only game not out yet I have given much thought to is Gears of War 3.
