We missed our flight. confused

Question: Do ALL women wait 15 minutes before they must be at the airport (which, in our case, is 20 mins. away) to decide to begin packing... everything they own? disbelief

They rebooked us for tomorrow night's flight, and penalties and fare adjustments are costing an additional $750!

It's times like these the world should be glad I try to be Christ-like. neutral

comfort

here you have to check in at least half hr before the flight, or no fly.

even if the plane is late leaving..if you miss the check in cut off...no fly

seems that i was busy doing something close to nothing, but different than the day before music beret

I walk to my seat, stow my carry-on and say hello to the person who will be sitting next to me. Then I turn on my iPod and crack open a book.

When the flight attendant comes by, I order a Jack Daniels and Diet Pepsi (no matter what time of day it is) and sip it for the duration.

Yeah, that's what I like to do also, except for the iPod. Good plan. thumbs up!

A drink is always a good idea during a flight, indeed no matter what time of day.

Oh no! comfort

That is such a bummer.

... and in answer to your question - no. smile In the UK, check-in usually opens around 3 hours before flight time. I aim to get there close to that time (more time to shop duty-free!!).

Plus, the journey time to the airport is longer and chances are there'll be a hold-up in the traffic somewhere along the way, or we have to do a 'wee' stop with the kids or something....

BUT, I am guilty of packing too much. I do it every time.

Shyra

I don't fly that often, but when I do I always want a window seat. Once I had to take the middle seat of a 3-seat row. I will never do that again! I felt like a piece of lunch meat between two slices of bread! And don't let the peolple beside you be overweight... I can't sleep in any moving vehicle be it car, bus, plane, jitney, whatever. I cannot sleep no matter how tired I am.
