Just came across a news blurb about some young new mother in Britain who is selling her excess breast milk online - as a health food aid.

when my son was born...i had an abundant supply of breast milk...but couldnt donate it

i could have feed the whole maternity ward...in 2 hospitals

i think the rules have changed nowdays...

I have a thread back in 2009 about THAT actual news report on a chef that was making cheese with his wife's breast milk.

I can't remember what show...but I saw a woman on TV who made soap with hers.

I thought it was common for people to do that- can't you actualy get a prescription for donated breast milk? Wet nurses still exist right?

There is a woman in England who still breast feeds her "kids".

I wouldn't drink it, but breast milk is just as healthy for adults as it is for babies. And if she can find people willing to purchase it, why not?
