Well, this thread is about Michelle Obama, not about the President not showing up at the funeral of the Polish president. Secondly, the President is a grown man and doesn't need his wife to tell him exactly when he should scratch his ass or stop smoking. He's a grown man, and has said in a past interview, that she wants him to stop, and he's trying. Anyway, the President not appearing at the Polish President's funeral, I believe was because all flights were banned in that airspace, due to the volcano that erupted around that time. Anyway, back on topic.

Agree, and I like the way she handles herself, with dignity and class, yet humble, despite a lot of criticism and hate from some non-supporters towards her husband and their family, they received during the campaign and after. They don't let anyone's ingrained hatred steal their dignity, they just ignore the haters and brush them off their shoulders like dust. The Obamas always handle themselves well in the face of adversity....a good example to follow.
