Well there is no electricity in the middle of the tropical rain forest, so there was nothing I could do about it. There are candles and you can boil water lol. And we sometimes used a car battery lol.

Again, I admire your patience lol Its lovely , candles mushy I would love to try that for a week or less but 5 months, I think I will die If I was forced to do that.lol

Thank you. Well if there are all kind of insects next to the candles it's less romantic lol.

Me too probably lol. But as it was my own decision it was different.

With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

i care about money to the point where i'd like to be able to do the things i like and live comfortableenough as far as food and drink and a decent place so i can provide for the ones i care about. however aside from that if I happen to make it with my music I'd give a lot of it away.

Yes, to an extent. There are things that I want to do in life and a lot of those cost money and I do want to live comfortably. However, I couldn't care less about keeping up with the Jones', or flaunting my wealth, and certainly don't let it rule me. I think that's where a lot of people mess up.

And I'm not talking about the money needed in order to buy a car, a house, to feed your kids, to get a proper education or similar situations. I'm talking about the greed, the "I want a bigger house, a more powerful car, more expensive suits, be able to go to more expensive clubs, etc." attitude.

I enjoy the Internet, music, Tv, trendy clothes, movies, etc. as much as the next guy but I've always tried to draw a clear line between myself, who I am and what I really need, and the bullshit that many corporations and advertisements try to sell us.

Deep in my heart, I think that the real human needs are sex/love, food, and a good nap, and a house, of course lol . That's all folks. Life would be (is) easier that way. lol

Why so many people are so depressed because of their lack of "money" is beyond me. In the end, we'll be all dead, so who gives a fuck about money?

Thoughts?

[Edit

My thoughts is when you have" greed" you don't see straight you only see materialistic things

And what happen is that you lose out on the most meaningful things. you have to live, so you need the basic things.( food, money shelter, and clothes). And if you are or becoming sucessful you can't let that cloud your judgement. Because you always have to keep and open head about anything you see expensive.

I like to sludge and something go to high end stores. But i still will keep an open head. I have a family and i have too think of them first. Know one nows when we are going to die .

You know, my first job I made $7.25hr. and with every paycheck I knew exactly what I was going to do with it. Fastforward 25 year later and I make almost 5-6 times more than I did then, and I am sometimes not as happy. As Biggie would say, "More money more problems".

i'd work at 7-11 cuz im good at counting and math

No, I really don't.

I mean, there are some items that I want (mostly music and movies related), however I won't die if I don't have them. There are enough free sources for that kind of entertainment, that you don't really need to 'own' them to enjoy them. And I'm not talking about filesharing specifically.

I live in an apartment, I'm a college student, and I survive on Ramen noodles and frozen dinners. That is basically my lifestyle. I wouldn't trade it for all the money in the world, because I don't see having champagne and fancy food as being any better.

Do I give a fuck about money? I only care about it to the degree that it serves my needs to keep the status quo. Sure, I'd like to have a little bigger house, but that's about it. I don't want a fancier car, a yacht, an airplane, or any other "high dollar" items. Since the recession here in the US, I have been much more thankful for what I already have and struggle to keep what I do have. I have learned that the more money you make, the more it takes to live.
