..."Eric bequeaths a gift to Lafayette." That really makes me wonder if Eric takes Lafayette up on his past offer and turns him this season.

I Cant wait to see it, I have read all of the Charlaine Harris books which it is based on and I now cant wait for it to start .

Tonight starting at Midnight (ET), in movie theaters across the country, there's going to be a simulcast interview with Alan Ball and cast members, a showing of the Season 2 finale show and some stuff from Season 3.

My vampire (Alexander Skarsgard) and other cast members were confirmed to be part of the live interview this morning!

I will be awash in True Blood goodness tonight!!

We got there @ 9pm (I feel so bad for the East Coast people!!!), signed in and walked the "Red Carpet"

Hi-LARIOUS!!! I'll post the picture as soon as I can.

We had to wear nametags that ID'd you as a Vampire, Fangbanger, Shape Shifter or Were

(I picked Shape Shifter not Fangbanger, thank you very much )

Then we had about 45 min to wait. They filled the time with favorite scenes from Season 2 as picked by viewers on facebook. It was OUTSTANDING watching Lafayette go "Vegas!!! Vegas!!!" and Godric & Eric say good-bye on the big screen!! They also showed some of the special features from the blu-ray dvd set (comentary by Hoyt...The history of how Godric became a vampire by Pam, Sam and his on screen brother interviewing each other...stuff like that. *squee*)

They showed the Season 2 Finale.....OUTSTANDING on the big screen! They had technical difficulties durning the simulcast (sp?)(Right as they are in the process of killing off Maryanne!!!) which was annoying, but it all worked out by the end of the finale.

THEN, the live interview started! Alan Ball, Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard , Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley and Ryan Kwanten were there. Alan Ball passed on his apologies for Nelsan Ellis who was ill. GET WELL SOON NELSAN!!!

Alan Ball started the interview by apologizing for the technical difficulties saying Maryanne must in fact still be alive and that she is still causing trouble.

The interview went on for an hour. HEAVEN!!! :9: It was really just awesome! Pretty standard questions. Did any of you ever receive the script and just wonder "How am we going to pull that off? Was any of it difficult for you personally?" (Paraphrased)

Anna P answered (Paraphrased), "Well the part where Long Shadow projectile vomited into my open mouth wasn't the easiest."

What are your favorite scenes? It turned into a love fest then..."I loved your scene...Well, I loved YOUR scene..."

Ryan Kwanten is the practical joker on the set. He placed one of the film crews little hybrid type car in the elevator so when the guy opened the door there was his car. They guy got him by filling Ryan's car with styrofoam peanuts.

They showed the extended trailer for Season 3 but I can't remember if it was before or after the interview. It was just glimpses of scenes, but WOOOOHOOOO!!! It teased so good!!!

Then it was over and as we walked out they gave us a 9x13 (?) poster of the Season 3 promo poster, a True Blood bag, a bottle of True Blood, one of the Sookie Stackhouse books (mine was Club Dead/Book 3 so it had the Season 3 picture on the cover. My girlfriend's book was Dead Until Dark/Book 1 so it had the Season 1 picture on the cover.) and a set of the Season 3 teaser posters but they were post card size! I will post a picture ASAP.

The whole thing ended at midnight for us, which is when it STARTED on the East Coast! I got home just before 1 am and I'm at work D.E.A.D. tired!! But it was absolutely worth it!!!

Nope, I'm not drinking sugar right now, but my daughter will. She likes it best flat.

I am saving the bottle though.... I think the bottle is cool.

I have thought of watching this show,the commercials I have seen for it look good. I use to watch a vampire show on Lifetime called Blood Ties,but it was canceled. Is this only shown on HBO or can I watch it on regular cable?

Nice gift bag....beyond awesome. They're selling 4 packs of those drinks now. I don't drink as many sugary drinks nowadays either, but I'd definitely try the Tru Blood drink.
