Your daily and/or weekly routines

As Andy Warhol said, "I like a rut." smile

I stick to my routine as closely as possible. If it's disrupted (e.g. the unit I use to timer-record Howard Stern malfunctions), I get cranky. We all get cranky when our creature comforts are not in place. So...

What are your creature comforts, routines, etc.? What, if it were unavailable/not possible, would make you super-cranky?

hmmm

I try to allow myself at least a half hour before work to check my emails/Facebook/prince.org. And sometimes my router gives out and my internet runs super slow or isn't working at all and I get pissed. Then I'm kind of bitchy when I get to work.

I go back and forth. I like a good rut but I also like breaking out of one.

For example - my weekday morning routine is practically ritualistic it’s so close to the same every day (from getting up and getting ready for the day and checking facebook/the org/the weather, to making my morning tea and breakfast at work) but I REALLY enjoy breaking that up on the weekends, or even working from home for a day and changing it all around.

I hate routine but now that I have a little one, I have to try to stick to a routine as much as humanely possible.

Recently, on Stern, Robin explained Howard's need for routine thusly:

'You know how a baby has to have its nap at the same time every day or it gets cranky?'

That's me, too. lol

hmmm

My family/Husband/Kids/Parents ~ If they're good I'm good

My bathtub

Some food and drink and a fan if it's hot ~ a nice bed

SUPER CRANKY comes from heat ~ I DISLIKE being hot ... and NOT being able to get out/take off...have time away from my creature comforts ...

if it was/is always the same I get cranky nod even with/towards my "creature comforts" I have huge gypsy energy
