I knew someone (thought it would be McMeekle) would say that.

Though I was in a house full of English ppl, when USA scored, they looked at me and told me to cheer and rub it in.

So then I did and my sis- in- law joined in.

(sadly the noise is not the Englishman, that I could resolve)

I've just picked up the early edition of the Sunday Post and apparently they're erecting a statue of Green in Cumbernauld.

"Jammy" doesn't come close to covering it. You'll survive that, but I'd be more worried about the bigger picture.

Oh well England proved once again we're just an average team with great individual players that just don't gel too well. Expectation is far too high in England. I think we might make the quarter finals at best. Not going to lose sleep over Slovakia and Algeria, I'd worry the USA might score more goals than we will against them and win the group.

I'd do some tinkering, Start with Defoe upfront.

Thanks... I clicked on this thread to ask the same question. I keep hearing that there were ties, but I didn't get it. I'm into baseball. They keep playing until someone wins. The METS played a 20-inning game earlier this year- 7 and half hours.
