And yes, Maradona did sniff cocaine. That does not, however, downplay his amazing status as a footballer and his humble and determined person. Add that to the crazy factor and you see just how unique Maradona is. Not only is Pelé the most arrogant, cocky, self-aggrandizing guy in Sports he is also the most overrated. I think that leaves no competition for the cocaine sniffer...in both a) and d) topics.

Man, just get the facts straight. Soccer was professional in Brazil since 1933. And Santos was not the only Professional team at the time. Brazilian league was the best of the world because it carried the best players and had big teams like Botafogo and Palmeiras. Garrincha was here, Rivelino, Carlos Alberto, Tostao, and all those world cup stars. When did Pele failed? I respect your opinion that maradona is better than Pele, but dont talk about what you dont know, Just dont make up stories and lie. Pelo not playing european league does not mean shit, cause european clubs were weaker than brazilian clubs at the time. The Santos of pele crushed benfica, milan and real madrid. Real madrid even avoided to play with Santos by fear. Its a documented and true soccer storie.

It's true actually. Pelé did, sometimes, score 10 or 11 goals a game. It's not bullshit. The other day Tostão wrote a story in Record about Pelé being 10 goals away from becoming Brazil's league best scorer some season. In one match, though, Pelé scored 11 goals thus becoming the season's best goal scorer.

Ronaldo can't be compared to Romário. He (Ronaldo) is superior in most levels but Brazilians seem incapable of judging a player on more factors tha goalscoring rating. Brazilian football in domestic terms is absolutely irrelevant to me and to anyone who knows the European one. Different standards for different demands. Expect zero work to be done.
