It's an absolutely hilarious clip.
But rushing07 said that it's from a show (I think he even mentioned the show), so that it's not real.

It's not staged, it's real. It's done the rounds before. I can't remember where it's from but I do remember that it's from a day time chat show and the piece they were doing was about (or was supposed to be about until the presenter lost it) people who'd had their vocal cords damaged during surgery, hence the odd voice. The guy being laughed at in this clip isn't the only member of the audience with damaged vocal cords. There's a longer clip (about 10 minutes) of it floating about which isn't really as funny as the cut-down one because you can see the context of what they were trying to do, and the presenter just comes across as an insensitive dick head - which he may well be, but I guess we all sometimes get a fit of the giggles at inappropriate moments. It's a classic and hilarious, but it is staged. The guy is a Belgian radio moderator, well-known for his crazy, poticially incorrect jokes and pranks. | |
