I eat 1200 calaries for breakfast. Instead of dieting I propose you workout more and then your body will burn more calaries allowing you to eat more.

Increase your activity, start walkin or jogging. If you want to tone use weights that you can handle in sets of fifteen. I eat like a pig, but if i run more i still lose weight. Also you might want to ask your doctor what is safe for you to do. THIS SPACE IS DEDICATED TO THE GREATEST BISCUIT OF THEM ALL, "C"BISCUIT

1,200 a day is good (men shouldn't really go any lower than that anyway), as far as fat intake it is best to limit it to no more than 60 grams a day.
Also, try to only eat foods that derive no more than 30 calories from fat, and limit those foods that derive more than 30 calories from fat (or don't eat them at all). And, don't diet! Just make changes to eat healthy... change your eating habits, etc.. Diet is "Die" with a cross ("t"). Besides, it's easier to maintain your weight after you have lost it if you don't look at things as you are "on a diet" and you will have better chances of maintaining your weight. . bad bad you ! bkw..get'em! I just read about the Dr Atkins diet a few days ago. it is very popular with New yorkers I believe. This diet allows you to eat as much fatty foods as you like but you must avoid carbohydrates. The reason is that fat burnsoff quickly but carbos store in your body and take a long time to break down. You cant eat bread, pasta, rice etc. If you get a hot dog you throw out the bun etc. The side-effects are constipation and early death through heart disease! It's a good diet for a while. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Someone I know online has lost over 40 pounds in the last 5 mos. on the Atkins diet and wants to lose a bit more than that, even. She doesn't exercise much, so the loss has all come from strictly following this diet plan. People have told her of the dangers of following this diet for an extended time but the weight loss she's had is hard to argue with, and so it's also difficult to convince her to consider the potential future health risks. From what I've been hearing, the Atkins diet is getting more popular everywhere lately because it's supposedly recently been given more credibility by the medical profession or something. It sounds like an extreme diet to me but then I really don't know very much about it. Is the Atkins diet one that you have to stay on for the rest of your life as rigidly as during the time when you were trying to lose? I don't see how that could be healthy at all, especially if you don't incoporate any exercise into your life and just rely mostly on the diet to lose/maintain weight. Fad diets seem 'scammish' to me but this Atkins one has sure been talked about a lot in recent months and many people seem to have success with it.
