Concur. The woman is not only intelligent and can hold her own, but she has the type of class that is rare these days. It's refreshing to see such a woman of her stature in this day and age that presents herself and her family with a strong backbone.

I love Barack and voted for him for a million reasons but truth be told...I was more excited to have her as a First Lady than her husband as president.

I admire her. She's definitely a very, intelligent woman with class, and a good role model for many young women, and President Obama is certainly not shy showing his affection and love for her in public. They make an adorable couple and great parents.

As a matter of fact, I've always found Barbara Bush extremely unattractive, and her hubby looks better than she does, and it's not like that's a lie.

Why would it be? The thread is about appreciating the First Lady. Her race has nothing to do with her intelligence or her ability to represent this country as the First Lady.
