"Sex and The City 2"...isn't this an episode of "Ab Fab"? I have no interest in "Sex And the City". I tried watching the show (I was going to actually write about it) but never got into it. Never saw the movie, but might at some point (it's On Demand" HBO, so it would be free). But even if I saw the show and the first movie, this second one looks terrible mostly because...it seems to copy a very particular episode of "Absolutely Fabulous" (the one where they go to Marrakesh). You can watch the full episode on Youtube (I would suggest buying the series...it's so good!). I'm surprised people haven't picked up on this. I did a search and all I could find was something like "the new movie is Absolutely Fabulous" but without the fun").

That's one of my favorite episodes of the show "But as your mother, I can not be held responsible for your well being."

"But as your mother, I can not be held responsible for your well being." I own the three first volumes on VHS in one boxed set (I have no idea how much I paid for it but I could could probably buy the DVDs for about half as much!). Great episode. The first three season (or series as they are called in the UK) have very little wrong with them. Later on, the show got really lame! Especially after that second special/movie, it was almost dead.

i have to agree that the first 3 seasons are all pure gold episodes. but after the initial let down of the following seasons (except for the movie "the last shout" which is just brilliant), i've returned to them about twice a year and they get better with time. you're not going in anymore, expecting genius like the first shows, instead you're thinking "ok, the lame seasons" but they turn out to have quite a lot of classic quotes and fun scenes. must have watched all the episodes so often that i can quote them start to finish completely, lol. one of the best shows ever. "did i tell you i'm going to open a shop" "what are you going to sell" "just lovely, gorgeous things" "hmm, chocolates, lovely nibbly things" "garden implements" and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

That is my all-time favorite episode of Ab Fab. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I've got all of them on dvd, except 'the last shout'. Was that ever released on dvd?

It's available with "Gay"/"New York", their second movie and a total abomination to the series. Just terrible! Fans didn't like "The Last Shout" much, but I think it's really good and it still stands up.

"the last shout", is imo just great. it's a lot of fun. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
