With in the weeks following the conviction and sentencing of John Albert Gardner, the registered sex offender who ended up murdering both Chelsea King and Amber Dubois, there has been a rash of attempted kidnappings of teenagers walking to school, right here in my county. At least one suspect was caught, and wouldn't you know it he was a registered sex offender. Several witnesses have identified a few others as they attempted to snatch young teens off the street and a some of those seem to be registered sex offenders. This morning there was another attempt, the young girl, 13, screamed and ran when the man jumped out the car after she wouldn't get in when he stopped and a witness at a bus stop across the street walked the girl to school. This sudden surge doesn't seem normal, is this some kind of "protest" for a fellow fallen "comrade" or what? It's gotten insane. I just had to vent. DAMN! I just read in the local news that another attempt at kidnapping a young woman happened last night within couple of blocks of my house. She was able to run into somebody's house on the street.
