Milder here, in the low 30s (low 90s F), because rainy season is here. Mornings and nights see 70-90 % humidity every day though, so the heat index is always at least 4 or 5 degrees hotter.

Your weather doesn't seem to really change. hmmm

People who think Canada doesn't have warm weather have never been to the Okanagan Valley in the summer. Last year the temperature came close to 50 C for a few days.

I can not find anything online that supports 50 C, but it does say it gets really hot there, more like 38-40 C...but it's dry heat.

I wish it was dry here, humidity is the WORST I tell ya, THE WORST - you can't even breathe.

It was hitting close to 50 when I was there last year. 2003 was like that too.

You're right about humidity though, for sure. Here in Van all it needs to do is hit room temperature with the humidity and myself and every other asthma case in the city is reaching for their inhaler. lol

MacDaddy

Sometimes (emphasis on sometimes) when we do have a real summer in Holland, it too can become pretty humid. And that sucks balls. You get out of the shower, get your fresh clothes on, by the time you arrive at work you're already sweating like a pig.

2nd hottest city in the world yesterday? Ottawa - no joke.

Holy shit. Let's hope today is better. People are swimming in the lakes here already!

And people think Canada doesn't have warm weather.

People who think Canada doesn't have warm weather have never been to the Okanagan Valley in the summer. Last year the temperature came close to 50 C for a few days.

nod

It is a HOT place come summer. I know in Kelowna, a lot of restaurants and businesses and such that would normally enforce a "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service" rule throw it out the window completely since no one in their right mind leaves the house wearing any more clothes than they can get away with. When I lived there, when I didn't have to be at work a bikini was my wardrobe in the summer. lol
