And oddly, as funny as these are, they're only half of what makes the show amazing.

One of my favourite HBO shows of all time, I laugh so much at it, own both seasons on DVD.

It's too bad Bret and Jermaine declined the offer to do a third season though . Though I understand they want to keep it great... but still.

Oh, I love these two guys, and I love this show!! My favorite song of theirs is "The Most Beautiful Girl In The Room." (Kinda sounds like Prince!)

Not sure if they're still touring, but if they are, they are totally worth the money!!!

HBO or some sort of cable channel showed on of their live shows, and they are very funny. Unfortunately for us, they are no longer doing their tv show.

This is my favourite song of theirs. Fantastically funny, and I love Bretts dancing (see around 30seconds into the clip)

I was always more of a fan of the music videos than the actual show.

I couldn't reconcile their incredibly clever songs with how stupid they are as characters. And one time I saw one character reading "Novelty Musician" magazine with Weird Al on the cover. So are they self aware or not?

But I love the music!

Shit is brilliant. The whole "Buy her a kabaab (kabob)" cracks me up

Yeah I loved this show. Think About It (actually it might be titled Issues...) and I'm Not Crying were a couple of my favorites.

good to see Murray found work doing HP commercials. My ex wants to have his babies I think. She loves the accent.

that's the thing. The characters are not self aware but the videos seem to be. I guess you could say their videos are removed from the reality of the show, because those characters could never create something so clever.

BTW a guy walked by me on Halloween in a tin foil cardboard box and I said "I poked it. It was dead."

He kept walkin for a few steps and then started crackin up. And his friends were all like "what? what happened?"

The thread on the wasp planet reminds me of the episode where Murray decides to invest some of their money in real estate, so he buys them each a star

Later, he gives Jermaine the bad news that his star had gone supernova. Concerned, Jermaine asks "when did this happen?" and Murray consolingly says "20 million years ago."

freaking love these guys. I own both their albums and the seasons, everything is pretty hilarious.

One thing that I noticed is that in the second season, in my opinion, the song quality dropped a bit, but the script comedy was much funnier than in the previous season.
