Alejandro said: 'fellowship of the ring' (again) -Tolkien I think that is that's the one book ever where I like the movie more than the book. Both films were cool and I'm sure the third one will be a superfunky experience. Don't understand why millions of people are completely in to "The Lord Of The Rings" again because as a whole, all 3 books in one bind the thing is just too much to take. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

IstenSzek said: I've been meaning to buy a book about him and Jelinek and Peter Handke, called "The Rhetoric of National Dissent in Thomas Bernhard, Peter Handke, and Elfriede Jelinek" by Matthias Konzett. I say 'meaning to' since it's a hardcover volume, priced at 74 Euros, which is about 60 dollars I think. So I'll just wait until the paperback is released and in the meantime I'll pick up a copy of Gargoyles. Sounds like one of those Peter Lang dissertation publications, in which case either there won't be a paperback or it will cost just as much. I wouldn't bother if I was you...

Maybe Moonbeam can help me out because I cannot even start to do this math... FUCK!!! Who here knows how to do Quantum Matrix Algebra? Here is one of the many things that is fucking me: Sometimes A x B does not equal B x A... ? That is because of the nature of the matrices and the definition of multiplication. The matrix multiplication is not commutative, the order in which matrices are multiplied is important. In fact, this is a major problem in playing around with matrices. I tried to post some examples, but the columns won't work. They lose their alignment when the the post prints up...but you will see as you keep reading. Bought and finished
Paddy Clarke HaHaHa By Roddy Doyle. Great read. The second book in this thread that I read that does not really need a plot, but is totally driven by the way it is told, this time by a youngster that takes in details as he goes along. This is the third book by Roddy Doyle I have read and they are all awsome, especially the interaction between the characters.

IceNine..i consulted my girlfriend and this is what she said...as simply as possible It's just because of how matrix multiplication is defined that AxB does not have to equal BxA. The easiest way to understand is to do an example. |1 2| .. |2 1| .. |2 13| |3 4| x |0 6| = |6 27| |2 1| .. |1 2| .. |5 . 8| |0 6| x |3 4| = |18 24
