I don't know about you but I cannot wait for Oprah to get off the air! Jesus, get that overrated hack off the air! An interview with Bret Michaels, the idiots from Twilight, Taylor fucking Swift and her no singin ass! Tim Gunn on fashion and more of that stupid shit. This show has served its purpose and needs to go away. Oprah rarely does import issues, avoids racism as a topic, avoids hard news, treats women like idiots. She's in her fifties and has on all those kiddie artists. And where was the second Prince interview?

At one time,her show was great but nowadays,it's a snoozefest.It makes sense that she's getting ready to wrap it up.The show ran out of steam about ten years ago. | |

you know she isn't going anywhere. the oprah show may go off the air
but she will find a way to be on television every other day all the same. she's just gonna do different things. perhaps interviewing all those lame 'new' 'stars' is getting boring to her too? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

Donahue was the SHIT!! I can't stand Donahue as a PERSON, but I gotta give him the credit for not being so damn considerate of viewers ratings like Harpo. His show has the edge that Oprah didn't achieve. Hell, he did what she couldn't do and that was having VERY frank racial discussions in the show. Emphasis on "couldn't" because to Oprah's defence, she doesn't have the white male's privilege, had she interviewed Louis Farakhan and Dr.Khalid Mohammed like he did, her career would've been shot to hell with the quickness. I can't stand the way she talks down to people. Doesn't matter who they are; hot young singer, actor fresh out of rehab, grieving mother, poet, politician, whoever.
