So far, no tips hrmph

Eat all the white meat fruits you can find. Apples, bananas, pears, etc.

They're high in potassium, which is the mineral that helps repair muscle tissue.

I almost never get sore after I work out for that reason.

Last fall I was FINALLY getting back into formal JKD training after a long hiatus. Then my private and professional schedules became even more erratic so I had to give it up again neutral

I really hope to get back fully involved like I used to be.

That style Steven Seagal does? lol You only use your arms in that technique. Nah, I'll take Kickboxing or even Judo over that any day, lol.

I've been curious about aikido for many years. One of my JKD brethren is an aikidoka. The main school here had a great reputation. Not so much anymore.

Aikido is much more elegant, noble and, at the same time, much more deadly. In addition, it searches for a nice balance between agression, defense and spiritualism... wink cool

Kickboxing is all guts and arrogance for me. Posers lol I mean, I still enjoy JCVD movies, but I'm not a fan/practitioner of Kickboxing...

Not sure exactly. My JKD brother said he left after six years because it was becoming so competitve and ego-centric. He left, and he said a lot of other students were leaving to go to newer schools that were being established. Instead of the one school we used to have we now have (?) lol Ironically, some former buddies of mine visited the old school back in the day and were completely turned off by it, they started studying hapkido, and began just as arrogant and cocky as those guys at the old aikido school.

disbelief You gotta love martial artists.

Oh, and being overly competitive and ego-centric is what led to my original JKD school being closed after our sifu left.

My teacher is back in town now with new school-the one I visited last year- and has attained kruu status. woot! I really want to get back in and become a full instructor some day.

If I totally blank Seagal out of my head, lol, that's a really cool description. I love leg action, but I might have to research that style. hmmm Thanks! smile
