I'm all for playing football in cold weather during the regular season and the playoffs. Just not the Super Bowl especially infriggin NY and Chicago. They might as well have it here in Charlotte and i know that ain't happening. What's your favorite color cuz thermo's longjohns come in an sssortment of colors .

Who gives a crap about a bunch of spoiled Wall Street hedge fund and oil company executives who don't want to sit in the cold for four hours to watch the Super Bowl; let the real fans watch real players playing in the elements for the NFL championship.
Plenty of 'real" blue-collar football fans in New York, so stop hatin'.

With that said playing it outdoors in a city with a milder climate like Nashville is cool. All the other south Midwestern cities like St.Louis,Dallas,New Orleans, and Houston either have domes or retractable roofs. Hell i don't even want to visit fam in NY in February more or less go to watch a damn Super Bowl in fucking 16 degree weather. I think most fans who are traveling would like to enjoy it in a warm weather climate or a climate control dome. I would like to see the Super Bowl come back to Atlanta. They need to get their asses in the bidding. Weenie. It's tooooo cooold, come on brotha, man up. I tell you what.... But folks will be staying in Manhattan hotels, and wining/dining in the city. And I'll bet you Media Row will take place at the Javits Center.

I shudder at the thought of what hotel rooms will cost during a SB. NYC already has the most expensive rooms in the country. Not to mention traffic and congestion. Yeah, ya'll can have that one I know where I won't be that weekend.

Only costs me $4.50 a day, and I use the bus and subway. [Edited 5/26/10 7:30am]

[Edited 5/26/10 7:30am] You know you gon' want some ass in return for lodging I'm not a fan of piling on to a train with a whole bunch of people. It skeeves me the fuck out. Native New Yorkers don't notice it but all that humanity in close contact does something to me. Even just walking on the street among so many people. [Edited 5/26/10 7:43am]

If it goes off well, you will see a Super Bowl in cities like Chicago and D.C. I hope not. Now that New York has it, i'll support it to see how it goes but i definitely don't want to see it in Chicago or DC. If you're are going to do another Super Bowl in an outdoor cold weather city Philadelphia would be the best destination but this is only something the NFL should consider on a 5 to 7 year basis. Best destination is and always will be warm weather cities like Tampa,Miami,San Diego, and Los Angeles. Whatever happened to host cities like Pasadena site of the Rose Bowl? You want football back in Los Angeles Mr.Commissioner having the Super Bowl back in the Los Angeles area is an idea. Don't laugh at my funk

Y'all have as many resources as we do in NYC. The weather might be a sticking point. I've heard about those Chicago winters.
