John Hancock - Things that make you go hmmmmm...! So on our trip to Boston we visited a graveyard where famous people (Samuel Adams, Ben Franklin's folks, Paul Revere, Mother Goose, etc.) are buried. It's on the Freedom Trail.
We stopped off at the memorial for John Hancock.
We know he's famous for having the biggest signature on the Declaration of Independence...but looking at his monument, maybe his signature wasn't the only thing?

It's a small little cemetery surrounded by buildings.
There's a bar across the street...which our guide pointed out "is the only place in the world where you can drink a Sam Adams while looking at Sam Adams" (well his grave at least). By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! | |
