Today I finally decided to get rid of my Myspace. Not because I'm one of those "Facebook is better" kind of people, but rather I just don't use it anymore. Since finding all my friends (and more) on Facebook, and in other places, I deleted everyone but bands on Myspace. Those bands are found in other places like Last.FM and Facebook, and their own respective sites. I deleted my original Myspace, and started an artist page in July 2006. Today...that ended.

Any of you finally delete your Myspace, or other spaces in favor of another?

I still prefer Myspace to facebook . But I hardly use it anymore because fewer and fewer people use it . But I don't plan to delete it.

I deleted my myspace AND facebook 3 weeks ago. I feel great about it.

my myspace and facebook is gone.
I just deal with twitter now and when I get bored with that, it'll be gone too.

Like you, I only use myspace for music--specifically booking shows.

lol...mine is a collection of pics, I never really used it much. I do use Facebook more. I used to like Yahoo 360 and Multiply. I'm not quite into Twitter yet.

How do you delete? I've been trying for a couple of years now. It's says you have to wait for a confirmation email to delete but that email never comes....

I deleted my Myspace a while ago. I've had about three. This one was the latest, and it ended last year. Myspace just....I dunno. It's like booty call central and that's just tacky to me. Strangers talking about what they wanna do and so forth, ready to meet up at the drop of a hat... I guess they looked at me and thought the big gal would say yes in a heartbeat.

So I left. I'm already on FB, whooping it up with applications and old friends.

I deleted one last summer... for personal reasons.
On that old one, I constantly added pix, changed my background, and updated my music player.

But then I started a new one. I've had the same background and music since I set this new one up. I really only use it to keep in touch with someone, so now I only check my messages everyday (from that one person), and update my status.

I don't have a myspace page and I just reactivated my facebook page about 2weeks ago because my friends kept asking me to come back. And I just came back here about a month ago. But I'm not into Facebook or the org that much anymore.

I had facebook and myspace pages and deleted both a year ago. I am considering Facebook again because everyone I know uses it so much they don't call or e-mail anymore. Shit, my best friend had a baby like a week or so ago and didn't tell me until I happened to call him out of the blue. All he could say was "Well why ain't you on Facebook? The baby pictures are up there."

So I might have to cave and get back on it. Plus I guess I havent been sharing pictures of my daughter myself. It would probably make me post more so my family could see her
