Jailbreaking iPod Touch? Anybody out there got an iPod touch that they have jailbroken? How do you feel about it?
I just got a touch and I was thinking about cracking it because I hear you can do some cool stuff, but I'm pretty behind on most Apple stuff... yea, i know...

It's pretty risky and if it breaks, no one will fix it because then the warranty isn't valid anymore or something like that.
I wouldn't bother tbh. | |

My old one was. I forgot what program I downloaded to jailbreak it though. I googled and viewed which program/method had the best rating and went from there. I had almost everything on there....even some of the most useless apps. I think my warranty was up by the time I jailbroke mine...so I had nothing to lose. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

I wanted to, but i'm scared it goes wrong, and what am i going to do then? For a few free apps, i probably never use, it's too risky

It's easy, and easily reversible. If something goes wrong, all you do is "Restore" from iTunes.
I have jailbroken many iPods, iPhones, and today I jailbroke my first iPad.
It's the only way to get them to function properly, IMO. Fuck being under the thumb of Jobs and only doing what Apple allow you to do. |
