I think I smell of electricity. Not in any metaphorical sense, but just like other geeks I've caught the smell from my computer and other electronic devices I spend most of my time with. Oh yeah, and of mozzarella pizza.

I think cologne is only a gimmick that works to draw attention towards someone, but if you don't like how they look, I really doubt their scent would actually get your clit hopping.

Ever have a chick walk by...

and you just have to think, "Jesus, she looked so much hotter when I was drunk and made out with her"?

Cause that kinda happened to me the other day.

Cologne can be pleasant, but it's ultimately pretty useless to me. It's never influenced me to jump or not jump a guy. shrug

Oh, it influences me - I love smells in general and when walking down the street I always take note of cologne or perfume - I've followed people around a supermarket before just to enjoy the scent

I don't wait for them to walk by. I actively seek them out. Follow-and-sniff-follow-and-sniff. thumbs up!

Out on the streets mostly. I'm banned from public transport. confused

Thanks to this thread, I fear I'm going to spend all day sniffing the air each time a guy walks by.

Great. Just great.

You might want to take caution if you are wearing cologne out in public.

I only feel attracted to men because of how they look, never because of how they smell. The small of cologne, parfum or whatever can be a huge turn-off though. I wish parfums wouldn't exist shrug.

I've had it be from cologne and from man-smell. And by man-smell I don't mean stank.

Absolutely. It's that clean-sweat smell. drool

And for me it’s usually not cologne. With my first boyfriend it was the fabric softener he used. With the guy I’m seeing now, I think it’s the scent of his hair product. I don’t notice it often but when I catch a whiff, WOW.

But that's not true. If I smell a dude that smells like another dude I had a thing with...I still brings up instant dirty thoughts.

Doesn't this prove my point that the individual makes the scent attractive, not the reverse?

Well, I think it's a bit of both. The right cologne with the right natural scent can be heavenly.

I don't like strong overpowering smells, I'm just talking about just the right small amount on a guy.

One scent that does drive me crazy on certain guys is the lingering scent of shaving cream. I often like that much better than a cologne or aftershave.

i hate the teens these days when they douse themselves in Axe body spray and the likes. I have one client (in his 40's or early 50's) who must go through a gallon of Aramis (ugh) a month. You can smell him for hours after he has gone

Becomes an issue when they've worn an artificial scent so long that their olfactory cells are no longer receptive to its potency.

I think people should be aware when they've sprayed/dabbed more than twice that they are probably over doing it.

comfort

No matter how fine a man is, if he smells like hot garbage in the summer or like he doesn't smell clean, he ain't getting to know me at all. PU.

I'd rather a clean man over a pretty man any day!
