My dad is the only working and pays all bills, my stepmom usually does NOTHING. I'm in charge of the chores (changing cat litter,washing dishes,vacuuming,furniture polishing).I've looked for a job but cant find anything. Me and my stepmom Do not have a good relationship. But Im in disbelief that she pushed me. I do as I'm told and dont do drugs,and do chores. So,I believe I'm a good kid/young man.

This is kinda related to my recent thread of the "Emancipation" cd that I made.So earlier today,me and my dad were listening to my "Emancipation" cd,and my stepmom came in the living room and said "Turn that shit off,im gonna cook and dont wanna hear that shit. I then said "Ugh,it aint shit". Then she said, "yeah it is shit,u dont like what i say u get out of my fuckin house! Then she walked off and I got up to get the cd out of the player,and she came back and got up in my face and pushed me. Then she walked off,i was literally scared. Shes a pretty big woman (290 pounds) and I'm 110. I had to defend Prince's music because it means a lot to me.

I have a 19yr.old. son, he walks around playing his music in his ears. He's in college and I like that he's home and not dorming. He's a good young man, and I'm sure you are too.
Get a good plan in order for yourself... college/voc.program whatever. You NEED to if you're not working so you won't be seen as a moocher. Its the way people see things. I am not judging you, but people have zero patience for older children that do not have a working plan for self-sufficiency in order.

So talk to dad about getting self-sufficient. You need support and don't let things get you down. I am sure once she sees that you are working towards a goal, she will ease up on you. Because really... I think she wants a home she can roll around naked with your dad at any given time, and your dad let her push you because he may agree that you need to get your shit together.

Its hard if no one gave you the life skills to pursue your dreams fearlessly and with a resourceful mind. But FIND a way.

Thanks to those of u who offered advice. She was in and out of the living room during our music session because she had to walk through the living room to get to the kitchen (she LOVES her some food). During that time she heard snippets of these songs-Right back here in my arms,Holy River,One of Us,The Love we make. The last one is when she went crazy. She despices Prince and calls him a fag whenever we mention him or when hes on tv. I feel the same way about her music. She watches the Telemundo channel,although I have no idea what their saying,most of music sounds a lot alike. Its got the same beat to it,just slightly modified. But i didnt tell how i feel about. I just believe she doesnt like me at all and its the truth. She does have a lot of problems,she has cyncle cell disease and shes bi-polar (maybe not but thats her claim). Doctors said because of cincle cell she might not live to be 40,shes 31 now. So,hopefully oneday ill have a job and be out of here. And she DOESNT even own a computer. I have my own,thanks.
