I hope not... the artist himself should never bludgeon people with their greatness... their fans should. SUPERJOINT RITUAL - http://www.superjointritual.com

You want to know something funny? Heather had never even heard of Kurt Vonnegut before I bludgeoned her! I've read Breakfast of Champions and I've watched Schlach Hous Funf...both were a little depressing in ways...not without humor, but malevolent... Fear is the mind-killer.

You want to know something funny? Heather had never even heard of Kurt Vonnegut before I bludgeoned her! And now I am on a mission to read everything the man has written! I have yet to be disappointed in anything I have read so far. So, teller... definitely get Sirens of Titan! You will love that one... I am tellin' ya!

I have a question, did Kurt Vonnegut write a play called 'Happy Birthday, Wanda June' ?

And, yes... he did. http://www.duke.edu/~crh4.../hbwj.html] There isn't anything in particular that I didn't like about it. I just remember thinking that it was going to be much better than it actually was and not being too impressed after I read it. I mean, I was impressed but not as much as I thought I would be. I remember reading 'Happy Birthday, Wanda June' when I was in the eighth grade and really liking it. But for some reason nobody else remember Kurt Vonnegut writing that. Thanks for the link, now I can assert that fact instead of asking about it. :WOOT:
