(org poll) its that time.. Warner Bros. VS. Disney

So Ive been bad on the annual poll for the month.. thought this would be a good one!!

So my question to you all is:

Who is your favorite group of cartoon characters?

Warner brothers

[img:$uid]http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x212/LainieWhite/Cartoon%20Character/WBThanksgiving.jpg[/img:$uid]

or

Disney classic

[img:$uid]http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y67/sokermonkey08/Disney/walt-disney-characters-wallpaper.jpg[/img:$uid]

My answer: Im gonna go with disney all the way...

when i was a kid I was hypnotized by the donald duck, goofy, and chip and dale cartoons..

to this day i hold a classic disney cartoon close to my heart!

bugs and daffy never really entertained me.

So now its your turn...

What about Hanna Barbara or MGM?

Warner Brothers for live-action movies; not necessarily children's movies.

Disney for classic cartoons.

I've always hated Disney's boring-ass characters and cartoons. Give me those irreverent, classic WB cartoons anyday.

toons; WB

full-length animated movies; Disney.

Of the Disney toons I just like the Donald Vs Chip & Dale ones.

WB made SO many classic toons I don't know where to begin.

Disney on the other hand did not get so many Oscars for

nothing; them movies are SO lush and beautiful, even though

the pace does not feel right the present day youngsters.

Professionally speaking, WB Animation is more interesting for all the right AND wrong reasons.

Personally speaking, neither. Both animaton companies have a history of borderline racism, borderline sexist, and negative human stereotypes in general (especially the era BEFORE the 1980's) that I can never overlook no matter how entertaining they are.

On that note, my vote goes to Filmation!:

Warner Brothers. I loved Disney Afternoon though. But as someone else said, their characters were boring in comparison to WB (i'm referring to the short cartoons, not full length films)

Some of the Disney movies are ok, but Warners is better for television series, IMO.

Thanks to Warner Brothers, we have this...

Same here. Disney was too cute and innocent. barf Warner Brothers was mean as hell! I used to love watching Bugs Bunny's mean ass. My favorite was when that redneck with the red mustache was chasing him in some castle. Somehow, the redneck ended up standing on stilts in a pit full of lions. Bugs Bunny just calmly and politely threw down a bunch of saws and said "Here lions". You could hear sawing and watch the expression on his face as he went lower and lower into the pit and then you heard lions roaring and saw shredded clothes flying in the air. evillol

Bugs Bunny was mean as hell. I remember he was having a bull fight and he got a big board, lifted the bull's tail, and slapped him dead across the ass. Bugs Bunny was always dressing in drag too. And that damn bird and cat was another favorite of mine. I remember when the cat was chasing the bird while a bulldog was chasing the cat in a street full of traffic. They all three ended up in the hospital with broken legs. That mean ass cat went over to the dog in the hospital bed and hit his broken leg with a baseball bat. falloff

Speaking of cartoons, Pink Panther was another favorite of mine. That was a one cool ass cat.

Tweety was pretty evil too. He'd light Sylvester on fire then hose him with gasoline. Sick, twisted and funny.

Now back in the day, many of those mold WB cartoons were filled with racist stereotypes. They did a spoof on Snow White called 'Coal Black an de Sebben Dwarfs'.
