Noel...
and because it seems fitting (especially if you know the play or nietzsche, one of the pysch/theory allusions i built on in the script... "[Man] is a cord, stretched between animal and superman, a cord above an abyss. Man is not the dancer but the dance or the cord itself. What is great in man is that he is a bridge and not an end." the song I accordingly use for the end of the show and the dedication to Noel... I love you, bitch. It will do what it's meant to. I'm sure great things will happen with, for or because of this play. You're a star already. R.I.P. Noel.

amazingly, 2 years, 1 month, and 5 days after his murder, his killers STILL have not gone to trial, something that drives me crazy. [Edited 5/18/10 22:03pm] Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Lord Acton

Hey my friend
Definitely keep us updated on how the reading goes. You know I think it's a really strong piece and deserves to be seen/heard. Is there where I'm supposed to say break a leg?

i had the weirdest nightmare about being in a movie depicting the multiple murders of cast members of the original run of "annie" by an insane producer inside his nyc lighthouse.
i was running up and down curved stairs trying to rescue little girls playing orphans. Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Lord Acton

Best of British to you me old mucker. (that means good luck in this queen's english)
It sounds really interesting, and with me you can't go wrong putting Nietzche and The Killers together on stage

It sounds really interesting, and with me you can't go wrong putting Nietzche and The Killers together on stage the nietzche is only there minimally. the much more present theory is freud's theory of concious/subconcious, with the superego, ego, and id fighting for control. in the show, i have noel as ben's superego, ben as his own ego, and anna as ben's id all fighting for control of the show/his concious mind. i love my pop psychology. writers are nothing if not amateur psychologists. Sounds brilliant! I love the idea of the three parts on stage together. Hope it all goes swimmingly

That might be misread as "gouging" which is moving in the wrong direction...

That might be misread as "gouging" which is moving in the wrong direction... often times a theatre goer is gouged.

That might be misread as "gouging" which is moving in the wrong direction... exactly. one of his brothers (who is one of my oldest friends and like a brother to me) called and said "tell me the title is not "gouging noel" i almost had a heart attack.
