HELP NEEDED!! I found a baby starling lying spread eagle looking dead on the sidewalk.
I think it fell out its nest from a tall maple I can't climb. So its about to storm here, and I took it home. I didn't put up a fight, just rested in my hand as I brought it in. I gathered grass and placed it in a basket, it is resting now. Think I'll release it in the morning. Should I feed it? Water it? How? Or should I let it weather the storm? Please, I want to do what's best.

You can always take it to a local wildlife rescue center. I found a baby squirrel like that once. Flies had already laid eggs on it, but I took it to one of these centers, and it made it.

When I was a child I took care of several birds. I usually feeded them with living mealworms. With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

of all the places in the world to look for help, a prince fansite is perhaps not the most appropriate place
why don't you google up bird help or something?

Angel Memorial Hospital told me that they will not take care of it (they don't take in wild animals, they told me to leave it where I found it Its a baby though, still has those fuzzy feathers on it. It can fly.

It can fly. If it can fly, it'll probably be fine. I had one stay in the bushes in front of my house for three or four days before taking off. Are you sure one of the parents isn't around? Many times they are and they're hard to see. Many times they wait around to make sure the young ones can fly on their own.

Kids outside were throwing stuff at it. We also have a pair of nesting red-tailed hawks about a block away. I felt awful leaving it out there on the sidewalk. It was there all afternoon. I'm sorta shocked a hawk didn't scoop it up.

Dig? trying several avenues is the best way, but a prince fan site is not a recommended top of the list choice for something like that. try nature webshites and stuff, there must be fucking thousands of the things. the rspb, and god knows how many fucking charities there are, like the WWF (not the gay dudes who pretend to fight)

I'm not surprised. Starlings are considered nuisance birds. Now, if one of the hawks were injured, that'd be another story. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I would give it some seed and water. If you have a little dog or cat cage you can keep it in there, or a hamster cage. Keep it out of drafts. Wash you hands thoroughly and small amount of bleach. If it can fly then release it if it s eating. Try a vet school, they sometmes have wildlife rehab,

It shows what kind of a person you are that you were moved to save this baby birdie.
It's so nostalgic for me to hear about Angell Memorial. I used to be a summer camp counselor at the North American Indian Center of Boston on East Huntington. My father is half Mohawk and wanted me to learn stuff. It was cool.
