Your thoughts, prayers, vibes I'm sure that you all know that I worked in radio for 8 years.
I'm also sure that you all know that I've set up the home recording office.... I've re-conneceted with a guy I used to work with when I was a rookie and he left for a gig in ATL. I've kept in touch and dammit the radio bug is back. It's not a growth industry at all, but doing it once in a while to hone my chops again would be nice. Anyway, dude I connected with is now an Operations Manager for two stations in GA. I'm meeting him for lunch in two weeks. I somehow have to congratulate him again (he was made program Dir in 2007) on moving further up and at the same time ask for a job or a reference. I'm a little nervous. I know how HARD it is to get in that circle....and I walked away from it 4 years ago. Hoping he's not holding that against me.... I'm nerves, all nerves | |
