What is the weirdest cd in your collection?

I know people have their own preferences, Rock, Soul, Jazz, all of the above, etc. But whatever you like, there is always ONE cd that people would never believe is sitting in your collection. It doesn't have to be weird music per se, just 'out of place.'

ex. You're a heavy metal freak, most of your collection is metal music and you have the Saturday Night Fever sdtk. right in the s's. People give you, that look, when they see it.

I have lots of genre's of music from soul, funk, sdtks, to easy listening and the the stray ultimate Manilow (no comments please), but the one cd that people always pull out and say 'what's this?' is...

a promo cd called 'Oprah Winfrey Presents, The Wedding.' It is from a miniseries in 1998 starring Halle Berry, it is 19 tracks composed and orchestrated by Stephen James Taylor. Its great to just chill too whenever you are in, that mood. It's not weird but it does stick out when glancing through the collection. I don't even know if it was released to the public but it's really nice.

what is yours?

Disco-Tex and the Sex-O-Lettes. I don't care what anyone says. Get Dancin is one of the funkiest songs ever recorded.

I dont have it now,and its not a CD, but a 7", but years ago in the late 70s/early 80s, when I still lived at home, I had Kraftwerks Autobahn!!

It was the weirdest music I ever owned, but I played it 2 death!!!

I don't even know the whole story behind the guy. I just know from the time I was a kid I always loved the song and never knew who it was. I didn't have to have it until I saw an episode of the Simpsons where Disco Stu was dreaming and it showed his idea of heaven and this song was playing [the one where Ned Flanders creates the religious theme park in honor of Maude].

I got it because I am a purveyor of all things that are odd... this is a music/spoken word disc but there are no Beatles songs involved... it is truly a strange disc.

You should ferret out a copy... it is WELL worth it!

Probably Max-A-Million's Fatboy (remember that freakin' song? "Hey fatboy... I wanna make you smile! Hey fatboy... come and play with me for a while!"

I've got all the New Kids on the Blocks, Milli Vanilli, Mc Hammer, etc.

But who here has Eric B.'s solo effort? It's hilarious!!!

Probably a CD called "Punk SIde Story". It's the entire soundtrack to West Side Story covered by this punk band who's name I think is Shlong.
