At long last, I finally saw a movie that scared the S*** outa me!

All the blood spattered horror films in the world cannot compare to the sheer outright terror i felt while watching..
































The Others.

Yeah I know it's been out awhile, but i hadn't got round to watching it.fuck me, i was jumping out of my seat!
I'm glad i didn't see this in the cinema, i may have embarrased myself by screaming like a schoolgirl.I hate psychological stuff like that.Good Job.

This film is more eerie than shocking imho.

I really liked it though and i enjoyed the twist. biggrin
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Right.. it was suspenseful, but not frightening. I loved the ending too!

The director is very talented. I can't remember his name, but he wrote it, directed it and wrote and performed the musical score! I think he's only 27, too! smile

I would have liked The Others had I not seen The Sixth Sense. The basic idea / conclusion of the story is basically the same...

DO NOT READ BELOW IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THE MOVIE!!! SPOILER!!!
The main characters who you think are normal people turn out to be ghosts themselves.

However, the acting is fantastic. As is the mood and suspense.

This movie took 2 long 2 get 2 the "thrill"... it was interesting. Super scary? No.

Only the last 15-30 minutes of the film was truly scary... it wrapped up the film. However, those 15-30 minutes... mmm, mmm, mmm. eek
