No criminal charges have been filed. Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said detectives are focusing on a suspect based on statements from the infant's parents. "We are working as fast as we can with the Baltimore Child Abuse Center," Guglielmi said. He said the baby could undergo a test today to determine if she was raped. Guglielmi said detectives have already consulted the city state's attorney's office, and charges could be issued after the test is complete. Guglielmi said the parents, who live in the Cherry Hill neighborhood, brought the sick baby to Harbor Hospital on Monday, where doctors confirmed that she had the disease. | |

By the time the tests are done the suspect will have long vanished. Absolutely disgusting. Why do these miscreants rape infants when they know they will be caught? The damage to a tot is far more severe and noticeable than to an older child and the damage to an older child is far more severe and noticeable than to an adult. Rape and sex abuse is deplorable but it is more so when the victim is a helpless child without a voice or an ability to defend his/herself. I hope this muthafucca burns in Hades but first may he be beaten and castrated. 
I remember reading a news story some years back about some filthy dirt bag of a man who gave a 2 year old herpes by putting his penis in the child's mouth trying to get some oral satisfaction. Gawd...just kill them all now and get it over with. | |
