Not ON them which is bad enough, but INBETWEEN them. Making it impossible for one of them to get into the driver's seat. Being disabled myself, that pisses me off. [Edited 5/10/10 14:14pm]

[Edited 5/10/10 14:14pm] So wait... you mean someone parks in the wide space with the lines between the spaces?! How dumb is THAT?! I totally understand, tho! I have a Camaro, which has long doors. That means if someone parks too close to me, I can't get my door open enough to get into the car! "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. This is not directed at you, but you just reminded me My Legacy

The people I see going into the local pot club look pretty young & healthy. I'm getting so cynical as I get older! I look young and healthy, too. But I have joints similar to an arthritic senior citizen's, and severe asthma that can land me in the hospital if I simply walk more than a few hundred feet when the pollen count is high enough. You would know neither of these things by looking at me. I've had to use those stupid wheelchair thingies to get around the grocery store, and you should have seen the looks I got from people who obviously decided, based on my appearance, that I must be too young and healthy to be using the wheelchair. I wanted to die. Since then, I don't even use them when I need them. When I'm very sick with my asthma or Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Chris will urge me to use one, but I'd rather force myself to walk around than spend the entire time getting angry at people for glaring at me or whispering to their companions. Just saying. I do agree that both of the things you mentioned do get taken advantage of by reasonably healthy people, but it's like food stamps - everyone on the program gets looked at sideways because of a handful of people who abuse it.

But despite my initial comparison, I must say have much less belief in the medical "conditions" of most pot club members than I do of folks with placards or people who use food stamps.
