Driving

Whenever you can tell two lanes are becoming one up ahead due to construction and the inevitable jackasses continue to congest traffic by waiting to the last inch to merge when everyone else is waiting in line. "Oh yeah, like I'm more excited about waiting in line than you are assface. Please go right ahead and cut me off".

People driving in the passing/fast lane very slowly on the freeway. I mean really. Is it that f*ing hard to figure it out? I reeeeeally don't care if you want to drive slowly, but can you NOT do it in the fast lane? If everyone knows this rule and everyone I know always jokes about how stupid these people are, why does this happen 5 times a day to and from work?

Communications etiquette

When someone calls you to their desk to talk to you about something/ask your opinion and they talk to you for a good two minutes about whatever it is they want to say. You listen to what they have to say and you're fully attentive for the duration of their speech. But when you begin to speak, they partially turn to their computer and half listen to you while they read e-mail etc. This is usually accompanied with some, "Uh-huh uh-huhs". Then when you finish talking they are full blown back into the conversation because it's their turn to talk again. I love people.

Religion

Uh oh. Perhaps it's best I leave this one alone. Don't want to whack the hornet's nest while the bees are sleeping.

I guess all I'll say is the amount of universal hypocrisy/intolerance displayed from something that is supposed to be a unifying/spiritual force of "goodness" is pretty downright amazing.

Is it really that hard to treat everyone how you would want to be treated yourself?

I mean obviously except for Norwegians, but I think we all agree they don't really count in discussions like these right?

How about I stop there for now becuase I feel like I could go on for another 20 minutes....

speaking of kids, so I go to a park one day and I'm sitting on a swing bench trying to enjoy some peace listening to my iPod and whatnot. Then a group of little rugrats swarm the area with their mothers. I sit and hope they will keep it moving but alas, no. Then one lil rugrat runs up to me and starts touching my iPod like he knows me and shit. I look at the mothers like "come get your fucking rude ass rugrat!" Do you think they do so? Nope! While I move my expensive iPod away from grubby hands and cut the stank eye on the lil fucker, the other kids start pushing the other swing bench.

Needless to say I found no peace that day!
