most men including him over there are in perfect shape compared to Europeans or people from the US.

nod

Americans are eating themselves to death. I think someone already posted the thread about the army guy stating that most young Americans are too fat to fight, right?

Consider this;

100 years ago, THIS was considered so obese that he was a circus freakshow attraction;

...now you walk into any Wal-Mart and see men & women bigger than this as a regular occurence.

Not over here in Europe, most people here are a bit overweight and not in perfect shape, but few are obese. It's a lot worse in the USA, I noticed that when I was there some years ago, I was shocked I must say.
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

Sounds like we have the same problem with motivation.

I love it when I work out, just hate getting myself to the gym; and as you say something always says do it tomorrow and then tomorrow comes and you find some excuse not to do a damn thing.

I ordered a treadmill for home, which comes this Saturday; so I plan to resume my fitness regime and have no excuse not to do anything cause it will be right there in the house (hopefully). I justified this as the treadmill costs the same as a five month subscription to my gym which I only use in fits and spurts.

I've been doing situps every day. My belly is getting better the only problem is lower part of it from having children and it doesn't look too good in the clothes I want to wear. I thought about a tummy tuck but I can't afford it or justify the price shrug

Try doing leg lifts; you lay on your back with legs straight up in the air (legs together) and then slowly lower them to the ground and hold with your heels just off the ground for a count of ten (stomach muscles tightened) squeeze your cheeks, then raise them again. Try 20 reps, its sounds easy - it isn't - but it works for that part of your stomach. While doing it make sure you don't let you lower back arch.

Football players do this. If you have someone who can assist; have them stand straddling you for some fast reps; they push your legs away and you have the control them, using your abs, stop them hitting the floor and bring them back up.

Good for you its a start! One word of caution, try to make your date with the treadmill part of your routine; i.e. watch TV with your treadmill, sing to your treadmill, etc., incorporate it into you life from day one--make love to your treadmill; otherwise it could end up being the "roommate from purgatory" that you'll just end up trying to avoid. lol

Thank You! I didn't realize this could be a substitute for crunches -- Love you!
