“As inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room… in some way, if I’m him, I’m like, ‘Man, I could have just waited 12 weeks… I could have seen this a little bit less, without the prison time,” Hasselbeck said on the May 4 show.

The very next day, Hasslebeck said that she was sorry and had taken her daughter’s advice to call Andrews and apologize

So not only did she embarrass her daughter with her comments, she also lied to her about calling Erin personally on the phone.

What a great mother.

And this is what that "apology" and tears were really about--her daughter being ashamed of her.
