Trouble with iTunes Store

Why when you know a song is on iTunes, when you sign in you cannot find it.

For example: "Doot Doot" by Freur or "Chinese Wall" by Philip Bailey??

Apples search engine for songs/albums suck. You can put in an artist name and three albums from that artist will pop up, even if they've made a dozen or more ablums, for example. They give 40 other damn titles that your aren't looking for. mad It's time for me to contact customer service, again.

I put in "Doot" and found at least two versions of the song.

I put in "Chinese Wall" and went right to the album.

It's the largest online music store, so I can't imagine the alternatives being any better than iTunes.

Well, I released an album on iTunes and discovered there was at least a half dozen stores for different regions of the world.

Maybe it's not in your region? Where are you from?

I tried just "Doot" and had success but, none were by Freur. I wonder if they changed their name ...

Doubtful. They've not been active since 1986.

Sidenote: Prince wasn't the first artist to adopt an unpronounceable symbol as a name. The band was formed in the early 1980s in Cardiff, Wales. It originally had only a graphic 'squiggle' for a name. In 1983 they got a recording contract with, CBS Records, and met the label's insistence on a pronounceable name, with the compromise that the squiggle was pronounced Freur.
