GAY MEN - Chasing straight guys

What are your experiences? Do you chase straight guys? If you do, why? Have you ever fallen for a straight guy? What did you do about it?

Bit of fun, or potentially heartbreaking? Respectful or no? Where's the line?

Do you think a lot of straight guys are given to experiment if presented with the circumstances? What would those circumstances be?

Do you think it's pointless? Not interested? Do some gay men not do this at all while others do it a lot? What makes a gay man invest time and effort in trying to get with a straight man?

Your thoughts, please. smile

I never invested more than an evening on a straight guy. Why get serious about something you know won't go anywhere? The allure for me was the whole "never done this" fantasy aspect. I say fantasy, cuz a lot of straight guys who've "never done this" are actually pros at it. lol

I got a lot of chances when I did drag.

A straight guy will fool around with you if he's in his early 20's.

It happens.

Other than that, there's this strange 'trophy' that straight men seem to occupy in a gay man's psyche. (I'm generalizing of course),

I've never chased a straight guy. The straight guys I have had sex with always presented themselves to me.

For a lot of gay men it is still considered a challenge to 'seduce' a straight guy. Or it's just a major turn on.

For a lot of straight guys it's probably considered a compliment if a gay guy takes an interest, right?

Or it scares the shit out of them of course. Pussies mad

This is pretty much how I felt about you, albeit after a brief period of disliking you when you burst on the org scene.

It can be flattering until the "oh honey, you know you want it" turns on.

I saw a gay dude say that to an 82 year old man once. He was surprisingly fast.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

But you took it after I asked. And sent it. I treasured it. I thought I was special. But then you posted it all.

I had to leave Org after that to recuperate. I was hurt.

Gay men chasing straight men is a bit like straight women chasing gay men. It can be a “safe” kinda crush where the two enjoy flirting and each other’s company or it can turn kinda sad if the chaser doesn’t really recognize that nothing’s ever gonna “happen” and falls just a bit too hard. But that can usually be chalked up to immaturity. shrug

What, that particular pic above? It was taken at the same time as another pic. Are you sure you 'commissioned' it? lol I thought I was just generally being slutty for no good reason.

Sure, I've both lusted after and had full-on "I think I'm in love" mushy crushes on straight guys before. But pursuing them in either regard just always felt below me, and I've never done it. It just impressed me as desperate and disrespectful to who those men were or were trying to be. shrug

Where mere sex with an attractive straight-identified man was concerned, if it panned out (and it did on occasion) it's because they drove it -- and I, of course, was happy to oblige their curiosity. (Something I'd strive NOT to be into today if I were single.)

Where the possibility of a full-on romantic relationship with a man still straight-identified was concerned (something that turned up only once for me, as I recall), I resolved never to humor that regardless of who fancied it. That sort of thing is drama, confusion, subterfuge and heartache waiting to happen.

There was this guy I fell for but couldn't act because he was a student and I was an admin. He was a very tall Iranian guy who I wanted to jump all over. The funny thing was others in the office thought he was ready to jump all over me too.

Given the situation nothing could happen but when we eventually met up once we were out of that situation, I had just hooked up with my partner and he only then got as far as asking if I was seeing anyone.

All indications are this man is straight and I'm not one to jump a straight fella. Also I was then becoming comfortable with my fella (two years on this week, and very happy).....but there were too many hints to indicate that even if he was straight we would have ended up in bed together should the timing have been right.

I still wonder to this day.

mmmmm..... Persians drool
