Org spouses/mates can be a lot of fun



It's almost like they're having their own gathering while you act a fool with fellow orgers.

My wife doesn't even know I'm on the Org. Travel with me to a gathering? Hardly. She'd disown me if she knew I was even on here, much less travel to meet Orgers and participate in debauchery. Every time I get on the Org I feel like a kid sneaking out to smoke a cig.

Now that I've brought mine to a couple of mini-invasions and he has seen how much fun it is to travel around the world and have a load of friends at every port to visit, he has totally come around to the idea. And I knew what your username meant when I saw it; I've celebrated Lammas! I have a soul underneath all this hedonism, you know.

I talk enough about the org to my wife that she has a pretty decent grasp of many orgers' bios, personalities, stories, etc. She always encourages me, in fact, to meet orgers when the chance springs up, but with only one exception I always get spooked and flake out.

I've met lots of orgers and I'm shy! It has never been a scary experience. In fact, I have found it much more comfortable than most other social situations I engage in.

And to add to that, now that so many years on the org have passed, I am more and more impressed by how long-lasting and meaningful these online friendships really are. I think they are some of the best relationships I have ever had! They are real and I take them seriously. (didn't used to)
