i can't believe the woman picked the damn cat up when it was freaking in the first place! When i was a kid my cat Daisy had babies. My mom said "stay the hell away from that cat, mother cats are crazy and mean as snakes". Some are not, but most, like human mothers, are a hormonal mess.
Another hormones and cats story. My cat, female, Yawzah, went into heat and she was an outdoor cat. I guess she was one of the only unfixed cats in heat in a one mile radius because when we went to let her out there were 10 cats that we counted outside waiting for her. They were in the street, on the sidewalk across the street, our side walk, the yard and one right at the door. MY mother had a broom and was going to shew shue her away with a broom. It was quite funny. Those cats looked at my mother like "We'll kick your ass, bitch, if you don't let us at her" Mom said "good luck" to the cat and headed back into the house. Cat's ain't dogs. Thank God that they are not bigger then they are.

She had five. Each one different i think they might have had five dads. There was a woman that got pregnant by two different guys at the same time/day (can we say harlet? so certainly it must be possible with cats. I think my kitty was carrying around a full load of juice by the end of the day.

I've always heard that you are not supposed to bother a dog or cat after they have given birth. Animal instincts kick in and they become very protective of their babies.

I don't think Renesmee (or whatever the hell her name is) was the first or last cat to get the death sentence for a severe personality change after given birth. Sadly in both cases where my cat had kittens, my parents kept a kitten but sent the mom to the pound.
Renesmee was "bolting" out the door, so she was on a mission when she was stopped and freaked out. If this owner gets a new cat, hopefully she has it fixed ASAP. Male cats that aren't fixed aren't a pleasure either when it "courting time".
