FourSquare Peoples Who here is on Foursquare, and use it regularly? Are you the mayor of anything? The whole idea is sort of silly, but a lot of businesses are taking notice of it and offering sale prices or deals to frequent visitors. In that regard, it's kind of a cool thing. | |

On a day to day basis, I think four square is kind of TMI and strange, but for some applications it is great. For example, when you are someplace with a bunch of friends, say Las Vegas, but you are not ALWAYS hanging out together, four square is a great way to keep track of your crew. It is also great for events like multi-day conferences or SXSW, things like that. It allows you to keep track, in real time, of where fun events are going on over a large area. a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on | |

It was funny to see one of my friends check in at the same places because I thought it was their "routine" shopping trip.
