I'm getting ready to book a vacation in the next couple of weeks... Ive been fortunate to see a lot of the states but I'm torn between 3 places ...

I'm thinking Disney World because its my all time favorite vacation spot so far nothing has topped this place but I still have a couple of places to see... and my hubby has never been to Disney before it will be my 12th time...

my second choice is Williams burg Virginia ( I just love all the historical stuff they have there and the weather is always perfect)

third option : Las Vegas I have never been but I wanna take a 8 day vacation and I have been told you cant do Vegas more than 4 days the burnout factor is pretty high...

but Im open to some suggestions .... so help me out

and.. Can you suggest any really cool places and things to do while there that you enjoyed?

A lof of folks say Vegas is a 4 day trip. Not me. I'm goin in July, 9 days.

I really liked Lake Tahoe.

I'd probably say my favourite is Bangtao Bay, Phuket. That was more down to the company (wife) and occasion (honeymoon) than anything else though. These days it's tough for anywhere to compete with Thai beaches for my vacation time and money.

I have to go with Honolulu. I've been there 12 times in the past 8 years. my 13th trip is this summer. Shortest trip was 8 days and the longest was 1 month. The beaches are beautiful, the weather is perfect and the people are great.

Depends what you're after in a vacation.

If it's just you and hubby, New Orleans is the sexiest city in the US (in my opinion). San Francisco is also pretty cool.

That said, my favorite two vacations ever included Paris.

I think Vegas is soooo overrated... We were bored in 2 days... But then it was decemeber, cold and alot of places werent even open.. so,

OK, OK... probably Key West or Paris.

If you're not into gambling, Vegas is sort of "meh."

And slept a lot. I was there for 3 days, then went down to Mexico, then Cuba.

I really like a place called South West Rocks
mostly because of my childhood memories, but when we went there again in 2008, first time for me since 1983, it was still absolutely beguiling I hope to spend at least 2 weeks there again some time

My favourite place to go on holiday/vacation would be somewhere in the French Alps when there's a lot of snow.
Other than that i'm happy with a lot of sun and a pool.

My favourite vacation spot is Hawaii. I've been to Oahu, Maui and Kauai and all 3 islands are gorgeous. I plan to go back in 2011.

penedo brazil is my fave., followed by copacabana brazil. here in the usa, i really enjoy carmel-by-the-sea, monterey, lake tahoe (all in california). the riverwalk in san antonio was nice too. and i like pine mountain georgia, it's peaceful.
