Yes! I will actually stand at my sliding glass doors and watch. And I love to watch the reaction of my cats when a big thunder clap sounds. It's hilarious to watch them literally jump 2 feet off the floor from standing on all fours. Only other time I see that is when I bust a loud fart!

I love them too. It stormed a little yesterday before work, and I said that I liked storms. A co-worker called me weird for it. She acted as if this was unheard of.....hands down the dumbest co-workers I've ever been around. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

I read somewhere that its nitrogen from the lighting strikes that you smell. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

Nope, I LOVE THEM!!
My father was a weatherman in the USAF and we use to sit on our front porch and watch thunderstorms develop. He'd make us get under the stairs when he spotted a funnel cloud. The coolest are thunderstorms at night when it's snowing. Only seen that happen once and it was breath-taking. Don't like the devastation, injury and loss of extreme weather damage, but love the beauty and power of nature. ![]() I'm firmly planted in denial

Guess what, he's gay! well he's the only one hardcore enough to go barefoot in a thunderstorm, so i'd give him props for being more manly than the other guys in that picture. unless, fcuz, he's a bit off in the head and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I love thunderstorms, unless I'm driving because it makes me flinch and I get too distracted lol
I used to spend a lot of time time near the sea, I only really enjoyed it during winter (which is perfect if you live in England!) because it looked different everyday. One time I spent hours watching a thunderstorm over the sea, it was so surreal. I was torn between running to pick up my camara (this was before camera phones) or just sit there and watch it all. I choose the later
